A group of ladies from Fellowship Bible Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio decided to “pop the bubble” and serve the children at Abba House, Dominican Republic. They donated $430 in lice shampoo and combs, capes, rice, and cereal. Lice treatments can be 3 times the cost in the DR as it is in the Untied States.
Keith is currently on a survey trip to the Dominican Republic. The Abba House is a prevention ministry that helps children who are abandoned, orphans, and in extreme poverty. This center is at edge of the city dump in Santiago. The ministry provides food, simple hygenie, basic schooling and shares the message of hope through Jesus Christ. Keith’s brother’s family, Pastor Rick Melugin of First Baptist Church in Brookville, IN, was able to serve at the Abba House and present them with the supplies and food. Rick, Angie, and their 3 children were also able to just love on the children while they were there.
Matthew 25:44-45 says: “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
